Digital Inclusion is focused on leveraging technology in support of teaching and learning. Technology as a tool, when used effectively in support of the process needs and desired outcomes of teaching and learning, can make a positive impact on society.

In todays increasingly digital world, we use technology to assist us in sharing knowledge and interacting with each other. We communicate and collaborate within communities of practice and in focus groups. We further develop our understanding and build competencies by using online resources and participating in online training and education workshops and courses where there is a formal Teaching and Learning focus.

Digital Inclusion provides consulting, project management, and training services that support clients as they consider, plan for, and initiate blended or online teaching and learning environments. Establishing and maintaining a Digital Academic Environment (DAE) requires understanding of, and competency within a number of technology supported activity areas.

Digital Inclusion can assist clients in defining functional and integration requirements and identify the necessary technology components (some examples indicated) to build a Digital Academic Environment appropriate for their needs and within their respective budget constraints:

Focus includes identifying, deploying and driving the adoption of Learning Management Systems, Course Development Methodologies, Educational Video Production, and Video Content Management and Streaming platforms. through engagement and the delivery of training programmes.

Based in South Africa, Digital Inclusion offers and applies education project experience gained in the region at tertiary and secondary levels. South African socio-economic conditions demand innovation when considering education projects. Digital Inclusion is focused on practical service delivery in alignment with real market conditions.
