Digital Inclusion is focused on leveraging technology in support of teaching and learning. Technology as a tool, when used effectively in support of the process needs and desired outcomes of teaching and learning, can make a positive impact on society.
In todays increasingly digital world, we use technology to assist us in sharing knowledge and interacting with each other. We communicate and collaborate within communities of practice and in focus groups. We further develop our understanding and build competencies by using online resources and participating in online training and education workshops and courses where there is a formal Teaching and Learning focus.
Digital Inclusion provides consulting, project management, and training services that support clients as they consider, plan for, and initiate blended or online teaching and learning environments. Establishing and maintaining a Digital Academic Environment (DAE) requires understanding of, and competency within a number of technology supported activity areas.
